Bridge of Hope is a privately run orphanage and multi-faith madrasa based in Kulaura, Moulvibazar, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Founded by Mahiee Kabir after a deeply transformative personal journey, the orphanage was born from a desire to give back — not with noise, but with sincerity. What started as one man’s quiet promise has grown into a living legacy of care, compassion, and unity.
We currently provide full-time care, shelter, and education to orphaned children aged 8 to 16, offering them a stable home, structured learning, and a life filled with meaning and opportunity.

What makes Bridge of Hope truly unique is its multi-faith ethos. Our team consists of individuals from Muslim, Hindu, Christian, and Buddhist backgrounds, all working in harmony. We believe every faith teaches peace, compassion, and humanity — and we bring that belief to life in our daily work.
Each child is encouraged to grow within their own religious identity. We provide dedicated programs for each faith, ensuring that no child is asked to compromise their beliefs. Instead, they are empowered to understand and respect both their own tradition and those of others.
📚 Education with Purpose
Beyond spiritual care, we prioritize academic success and personal growth. Our children attend local schools for formal education in subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies — while continuing their religious education in parallel.
Each child receives personalized guidance and support, helping them thrive academically and emotionally. Our aim is not just to educate minds but to nurture well-rounded individuals who are resilient, ethical, and future-ready.

We currently house 40 children — a deliberate number chosen to ensure every child receives the attention, space, and care they need. We believe in quality over quantity: new children are only accepted when older ones graduate and transition to the next stage of life, whether that’s university, vocational training, or employment.
Our facilities are modest but clean, respectful, and filled with warmth — from the dormitories and classrooms to the prayer areas, dining hall, and washing spaces.

The room is divided into sections for each major faith represented by our children — Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, and Buddhism — allowing them to pray and reflect in peace.
